Having worked in the IT industry back home, Safi found himself standing at a crossroads as the Taliban cast a dark shadow over his beloved homeland. While opportunities beckoned in the land of promise, Safi's heart ached for those left behind, especially the courageous women and men who had tirelessly toiled to elevate Afghanistan's economy in the face of adversity.
